People love mob stories. Historically, audiences have always been attracted to movies, TV, books, and any stories with mob themes. This is evidenced by “The Godfather” and all its sequels; “Goodfellas;” “Analyze This,” and “The Sopranos” to name a few. All of these have attracted huge audiences and critical acclaim. Not Tonight, Vito! is a fun and socially relevant play for theatre-goers to enjoy on stage. It has tons of laughs, with the meaningful theme of “stop the fighting and create peace.” The cast is an ensemble of characters with four couples of different ages from 18-60, so the play appeals to all ages. It’s sort of a combination “The First Wives Club” meets “The Godfather” or “The Sopranos” meets “NO Sex and the City.” The play has had several hugely successful readings and is available for a world premiere production!
